What's new on Imagery Atlas
Updated 10/6/2026
Historic Topos, Historic aerial imagery
- Coverage varies by time and area.
LIDAR Improvements:
loads with larger tiles and automatically retries tiles that fail due to USGS issues
Second LIDAR source:
ESRI LIDAR is slightly less detailed but more reliable loading
Magnetic Anomaly layer fixed
Federal Mineral Ownership:
CO, NM, UT, WY, OR. Loading speed varies by state.
Private Parcel Ownership:
experimental. Covers 30 states, but not all counties. Load speed depends on state servers and may be slow.
Note: USGS throttles its LIDAR service at night and on weekends
